Day 1 Airport or Hotel Pick-Up

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Arrive at Colombo Airport or your hotel in Colombo or Negombo. No scheduled activities on the first day, providing you with time to settle in. Overnight stay at a comfortable eco-friendly resort in Sigiriya.

Day 2 Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Minneriya National Park

Visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, an architectural marvel with vibrant frescoes. In the afternoon, enjoy a 4x4 vehicle safari in Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park to witness playful young elephants by the lake. Overnight stay at an eco-friendly resort in Sigiriya.

Day 3 Pidurangala, Golden Cave Temple & Historic

You will have the chance to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress in the early morning, which some claim to be the eighth wonder of the world and which was built in the fifth century A.D. You will be able to see the royal swimming pool on top as well as the water garden, bolder garden, mural paintings, the mirror wall, and the lion's paws. Afterward, head back to the hotel for a well-earned breakfast. You will travel to the Dambulla Cave Temple following Sigiriya (built by King Walagamba in the 1st century B.C with 22.000 square feet of ceiling paintings). The Aluvihare Cave Temple, the spice gardens in Matale, and Nalande Gedige (a temple constructed in Sri Lanka's geographic center) are the next stops (this is where Buddhism was brought into book form in the 1st century B.C). Stay in a Kandy luxury hotel with excellent reviews.

Day 4 Royal Botanical Garden & Nuwara Eliya Tea Plantations

Explore Kandy's historic district and enjoy a factory tour with freshly prepared tea. Stroll through Nuwara Eliya's fruit and vegetable market. Overnight stay in a modern hamlet in Nuwara Eliya city.

Day 5 Train Journey to Ella & Mini Adam's Peak

Embark on a scenic train ride from Nanu-Oya to Ella village. Explore Ella village and its famous Nine Arch Bridge. Overnight stay at a mount view hotel in Ella Village.

Day 6 Mini Adam's Peak & Leisure in Ella

Hike to Little Adam's Peak for a mesmerizing sunrise (optional). Spend the day exploring Ella's charming village and enjoy local cuisine. Overnight stay at a mount view hotel in Ella Village.

Day 7 Yala National Park Game Drive

Day 8 Leisure Day on the Beach

  • Optional activities: Although some optional activities are listed in the itinerary, their costs are not included. Passengers can choose to participate in these activities at their discretion and pay for them separately.
  • Gratuities: Gratuities for guides, drivers and hotel staff are not included. Tipping is common practice in Sri Lanka as a token of appreciation for excellent service and is at the travelers discretion.
  • Additional accommodation: If passengers decide to extend their stay or arrive before the planned start of the tour, the cost of any additional accommodation is not included.
  • Local Transport: The package does not cover any transport used for personal activities or exploration outside the planned route.
